EMPORIUM – Mitchell Vallone threw for two touchdowns and ran
for a third to lead Elk County Catholic to a 43-0 win at Cameron County Friday
night.
Vallone was 3-for-5 passing for 52 yards with a 20-yard
scoring passes of 20 and three yards to Clayton Housler while also rushing twice
for one yard including a 1-yard scoring run. Housler grabbed all three of the
completed passes.
Joe McLaughlin, Jonathan Dippold and Dan Singer also added
touchdown runs for the Crusaders (3-0 overall, 3-0 AML South), while Ryan Seelye
kicked a 23-yard field goal. Brock McCullough led ECC with 108 yards rushing on
14 carries.
Andrew Lathrop had 11 carries for 45 yards and three catches
for 21 yards for Cameron County, which had just 19 total yards.
