The Emporium Borough Emergency Management Coordinator is updating his list of residents that will need assistance in the event of an emergency situation where appraisal or evacuation would be necessary.

          If you or a loved one would need assistance due to a medical condition or handicap, please call the Emporium Borough Office, 486-0768 Monday through Friday, and give your name, address, and nature of condition, or leave a message, to have your name put on our list.

          Please note that during  Hurricane Sandy our Emergency Control Center will be located at the Emporium Fire Hall and a shelter will be open at the High School.

          You are reminded that you should obey all road-closed signs and stay away from downed electric lines!
