Baguba Parents Night

The fans at the last Baguba home Baguba wrestling match got a special treat. Bev Stuart, mother of the late Les Doud, was presented with a t-shirt and a very moving tribute read by Mark Seabolt. Mark represented the Class of 1985, where Les was a classmate, and read a piece written by fellow classmate Major Darryl Lyon. The shirts were specially designed to replicate the exact shirts that the team wore in 1985, and signify that on the back.

The Class of 1985 held a fundraiser and donated the proceeds to the Baguba Boosters in memory of Les, and the funds were used to provide the shirts to the Junior Olympic wrestlers. This year's JO Tournament will be named the "Les Doud Memorial Wrestling Tournament" and will be held on March 5 at CCHS. If you would like to have one of these retro shirts, they can be purchased directly from Art-n-Ink by calling 486-0606
