West Penn Power Prepares for Another Winter Storm

It looks like Phil was correct and our winter weather just keeps coming. This week’s storm should give us a little ice then lots of snow. As a result of the weather forecast, West Penn Power has activated its storm preparation process. We will have crews on site 24 hours a day to respond to power outages. We have also implemented plans to mobilize crews to areas with the most power outages.

Customers who are without power are encouraged to call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) to report their outage or click the “Report Outage” link on www.firstenergycorp.comvia smartphone. For updated information on the company’s storm preparation efforts, current outages, FirstEnergy’s storm restoration process, and tips for staying safe, customers can visit the 24/7 Power Center at www.firstenergycorp.com/outages.
